1. METHODS ... (DIVERSIFIED ADVERTISING)

We want you to have FUN in this business, and that means YOU are in control of the Methods you wish to use to market your business.  Remember YOU are the CEO and President of your new business.  Your success is up to you (not your sponsor, not your upline).  Your sponsor and upline are available for you to call them (not vice versa) for these reasons:

  • To answer questions you cannot find the answer to
  • To solve problems you cannot solve
  • To brainstorm better or more effective ways to market
  • To do 3way calls with your prospects

Team 2000 recommends over 20 methods to market your business.

Every IBO should START by picking 3-5 methods of marketing to give 100% effort in making that method result in new IBOs and/or new members signed up in their business as quickly as possible.  You can add more methods later as you grow in the business. You need to be DILIGENT and WORK HARD at the methods you select. Failure is not an option, it's only a matter of doing it and doing it and doing it until you succeed.

Don't try to figure out every details of your marketing method. This is paralysis of analysis.

Make sure you BRAINSTORM each method you select with your sponsor to make sure you have the best approach possible for the quickest result.


2. HOURS ... (DOING BUSINESS ON PURPOSE)

Make sure you WRITE OUT your work hours. Post your Ameriplan® business hours on your refrigerator and your bathroom mirror and in your car. Tell your family that your Ameriplan® work hours are MORE important than your job hours, and that it is more important to work hard for your own business and your own wealth, than you would for someone else's business (your job) and their wealth.

"Fail to Plan = Plan to Fail"

This is one of the most important projects you will do.
Write down your work schedule!

You need to plan your AmeriPlan® work schedule so that you know you are putting in adequate time to get the results you want. Your sponsor wants and needs to know the hours you plan on working so he is available to assist you with 3 way calls.  Writing down your schedule increases the likelihood of your discipline and productivity by 500%... Enough said?

3. TRACKING ... (IDENTIFY YOUR STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES)

If you were a NASCAR driver, you would track your lap speed, engine revs, etc.  If you were a teacher, you would track the grades of each student.  If you were a golfer you would have a scorecard.  Well, to be successful in our business you need to TRACK YOUR ACTIONS.  Very simply the most important ACTION in our business is TALKING to people.

Therefore, CLICK HERE and print this daily "Tracking Report."  Make sure you track your actions every day and total it every week on your Tracking Summary (CLICK HERE) - right click on this "click here" and then select "SAVE TARGET AS".  I promise this will help you identify your weaknesses, so you can strengthen them and you'll end up more successful.

This tracking report and summary will show you your STRENGTHS and your WEAKNESSES.  The key is you MUST BE HONEST in all your numbers!!!!  For example:

  • Very low DIAL numbers = they need Methods of Operation to acquire new prospects
  • High # of DIALS but low + low presentation # = practice the script & get on the phone
  • High Presentation # + low Followup #s = work on setting your next appointment always
  • High Presentation # + low 3rd Party Verification = teach em how to do 3rd Party Verif.
  • Low Decisions = Analyze the all the above numbers to spot any weaknesses
  • If you increase your DECISIONS each day/week, you will increase your # of applications

4. TRAINING ... (LEARN FROM OTHERS)

Every successful IBO in our business has plugged into training (continuing education) every week.  So why would any IBO not plug into our training system and try to figure it out all on their own?  Only 1 in 500 IBOs ever find success all on their own, the rest of us plug in to the training system of their upline and learn from others.  We encourage you to do the same.

The above calls add up to less than 2 hours per week.  Do this and follow what you're taught for 2 years and you'll be financially free for life.

5. ACCOUNTABILITY ... (THE SECRET OF SUCCESS)

499 OF 500 Success Stories voluntarily hold themselves accountable to their sponsor/mentor on a weekly basis.  Doesn't it make sense for YOU to do what successful people have done to give you the best opportunity to have the same or better success?

a.  At the BEGINNING of a week (Sunday or Monday) YOU should email your sponsor/mentor your ACTION PLAN (or Business Plan) for that week.  Here is a suggested sample:

Dear Sponsor - This week I plan on working 6pm-9pm ET each day Monday thru Friday and also 1pm-9pm on Saturday.  I will be using these Methods:  Internet leads, Postcards, Magazines, Badge, Sign on Car, and DVDs.  My goal is to give 3 full presentations per day minimum.  Watch for my Tracking Summary spreadsheet on Saturday and I'll call you about 4pm Sat if that's ok with you.  I will also be on the T2k Thur and Sat training calls.   Signed, your next NSD

b.  At the END of each week (Saturday or Sunday) YOU should email your sponsor/mentor your weekly Tracking Summary (right click and select Save Target As).  Then as soon after you send that Tracking Summary by email to your sponsor/mentor, you should CALL your sponsor/mentor to discuss your strengths, weaknesses, or how to modify your plan.  Make sure you keep this call to 15 min /week.
